Information we receive
Most pages can be viewed without an account. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, reply address, inquiry category, subject, and message you submit. If you join the KOTS Universe mailing list, we receive the email address and consent choice you submit. Both forms use limited technical information needed to prevent abuse.
Archive progress
If you choose a “caught up through” setting, the site stores only that Chapter checkpoint—or your explicit Spoil Me preference—in a functional cookie and matching browser preference so it can render the matching spoiler-safe archive view. Spoil Me follows only Chapters whose scheduled website release has occurred. These values are not an account, advertising identifier, or cross-site tracking profile.
Meta business accounts
When an authorized administrator connects an official KOTS Facebook Page or Instagram professional account to the KOTS Promo Publisher app, Meta may provide the app with the account profile and media, Page or post identifiers, comments, direct or Page messages, limited public profile details for people interacting with the business, and account or content insights. The app is configured for KOTS business assets and is not intended to access unrelated personal Facebook content.
How it is used
Contact information is used to route and answer your message. Mailing-list information is used for KOTS release and series updates. Meta business-account data is used to prepare, schedule, publish, monitor, and measure official KOTS posts and videos and to review or respond to comments and messages. It is not sold or used for cross-site advertising profiles.
Storage and access
Publishing credentials are restricted to authorized operators and are not placed in public site code. The service may retain scheduled publication records, platform post identifiers, delivery or error logs, moderation records needed for safety or accountability, and aggregate performance snapshots. Message and comment content is accessed only for KOTS account operations and is not used to train a public model.
Third-party media
Full chapter playback uses an embedded YouTube player. YouTube may receive playback and device information when the player loads or you interact with it. Official social links open the relevant platform in a new tab.
Contact security
Mail delivery credentials remain server-side outside the public web directory. The receiving email address is not exposed in page markup or browser scripts.
Your choices and deletion
An account administrator may disconnect the app through Facebook or Instagram settings. To request deletion of data associated with the KOTS Promo Publisher app, use the instructions at KnightsOfTheSkies.com/data-deletion/.
